I’m Kate. I’m an artist and a writer. I make things – mostly out of reclaimed fabric, but I also love to paint and write. And I could never choose which I loved most, so now I don’t choose, I just do, as the mood takes me. You can find me on Instagram
where I take pretty pictures of all the stuff I love and share my creative muse. I write for No Serial Number Magazine
and keep promising myself I will one day finish the novel I started when I was 15. My blog here aims to chart my journey through self employment, home education and saving the planet. Not necessarily in that order!
I love nature, and dry stone walls, paint under my fingernails, and standing with my bare feet on the land and my face to the sun. I love stories. The stories of people, the stories of stuff. I love the idea of carrying stories forward, and of birthing new stories that honor the old. Hippy or witch? I’m maybe both.
